The Arctic Spirit Conference focuses in combining United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Arctic. The first day of the Conference offers high level speeches and panels on the role of economic development and the role of Arctic science. A panel of active young Arctic people wraps this up. On the second day, we focus on People in the Arctic by themes such as Arctic identity, indigenous peoples and the media, the role of Arctic cities, well-being among young people, different modes of land use, bio-economy and education.
The Arctic Spirit aims to offer interesting and relevant content by dwelling deeper into themes which are not too often discussed in Arctic events. This is where the Arctic community meets to exchange, learn and be inspired. We want to build the Conference in a way that by attending it you can feel the difference.
